LOOK TO GOD AND LIVE!

Hello:)

This week was great! I finally got to meet most of the investigators that we have out here in Minot (my-not). We met a man who is on date for baptism. His name is Godwin, We taught him about the word of wisdom. I loved it because we read over it and before we even talked about why we should not drink coffee, he said "I love my coffee." but without hesitation he said that it is a new goal to stop. I loved that we didnt even have to explain blessing or anything to him, we just said 'Okay'.
We also taught a less active who is named Damien. We were teaching him about the restoration. it was a good lesson and at the end, I just started to tell him about how I didnt always know that the Book of Mormon was true, it was just a book full of stories. then the spirit like attacked me, ahah  so i just kept telling him about when i knew that it was true. Once i finished saying what the Book of Mormon meant to me and that it was my reason, not Sister Cleggs reason, or my Mom's reason. That the Book of Mormon will never mean anything to you unless you want it to. Our testimonies are OURS for a reason. It was so cool to just have something that i could share that wasnt out of a book or manual. that even just my own experiences were something that God can use to touch someone else. I love that we can be ourselves and teach at the same time, we we dont have to be robots;)

This week was also Extremely hot. Our Apartment is like burning up, often times it will be cooler outside than in our apartment...but that is okay..i just hope that our swamp cooler decides to start working again.

I Love hearing all of the good news from home! i hope that news will continue :)

We have shared this video a few times this week. you cannot watch this video and not feel something. It is amazing! Think about all you can do because of Him:)

I love you all! I hope you all have amazing weeks and search out those who need you love and testimonies:)

4th of July

Hey everyone, I do not have lots of time today but i will try my best to fill you all in:) Welp, Weirdest thing...today at the walmart the bagger asked me if i wanted my milk in a beg. haha it took me forever to realize that she was saying 'Bag'...awkward. I didnt really feel super bright after that haha

So we have had a good week! It started out pretty slow but we were able to make tons of appointments for this coming weeks so hopefully we can get some good teaching in and we can set up some more things. We have one Lady who is on date  who is the sweetest old lady in the whole world. Her name is Rosalind, and she says the best Prayers. I love visiting her. We always have a good visit with her.

We were approved to stay out to watch the fireworks on the Fourth this year and so we did:) It was good and we saw lots of them from everyone's homes. I loved to see the fireworks. I hope you all had a great 4th of July with your families and hopefully no one blew up;)

Sister Clegg and I are probably the weirdest people ever. we are the only sisters out in Minot and we tend to feel overpowered by the elders.. so, long story short i am really excited to see some other sisters someday. But, i guess elders are cool too....

I heard about the supreme court decision to legalize same sex marriage and i LOVE the churches statement on it. If you have not read it you need to look it up now. Not only is it important to be aware but unity in our church something we should all strive for.

I know that because of this decision finding people and teaching them to come to Christ is going to get harder as sin and corruption increases around us, but as we endure on, our basic beliefs and practices are what will sustain not only our families but our individual testimonies until rest from this life arrives. Nevertheless our search for people ready and willing to come unto Christ is ever needed and continuing. Our world might just need God now, more than ever.

I hope you all know that members of our church are the ones who bring people to Christ. We as missionaries, can teach but the most powerful lessons and testimonies come from members who are willing to share 10 minutes of their life to changes someone else forever.

Please look for and help the non member and less actives and other members that are around you everyday. EVERYONE can come closer to Christ.

I love you all! God needs our help in saving his children!

Finally in North Dakota!
Well Everyone I am finally in North Dakota! I am Serving in Minot (MYNOT) with my trainer Sister Clegg from Spanish Fork Utah! She is way awesome and I have already learned so much from her and the other elders in our area. we are the only sister in the Minot Zone...and the only companionship that has to pay for laundry:/ Quarters for life:)

Sister Clegg and Sister Andrus

We got here on Thursday and honestly I feel like I have been here for 6 years of my life already...like talk about the longest days of my life. But looking back it is moving along. we have been teaching a lady named Rosalind, she is already on date for baptism on August 1st but she is so sweet she is actually in a nursing home because she broker her leg and is healing there. But I do love seeing her. She just GETS THE GOSPEL:) We have also had dinner with a could members. we ate with the Roskelleys, who are awesome! Brother Roskelley grew up in Logan, and graduated from Sky View( DAD;)) He has so man cool stories. His great grandfather is the man who was the temple president in a lot of the cool Logan Temple Stories:) we had so much fun with them.
Last night we ate with the Sorensons. they live on the air force base out here so we had to like run background checks and everything to get into their neighborhood.... it was crazy. I love spending dinners at the members homes, I makes me feel like I am at home and like I am a normal person again. Because all of the none members don't really look at us like we are normal.

We had a ton of meetings of course, but I met a lady named Lois Allen. ( mom please forward to Gma, and rosie) Lois know grandma from Yuma... it was so random meeting her but she loves Grandma and Rosie. She told me to remind them that she greets at the west door at church:)

Other small things that bring me joy....I used to laugh and missionaries backing up cars. but the Angels were silent notes taking, because that is my responsibility now.... about 6 times a day, I get to stand awkwardly and back out sister clegg.... Please be careful my dear family and friends, because what goes around comes around;)

BEST MOMENT OF THE WEEK: I bought a pillow!! it was so nice... and new sheets...mom we really were supposed to bring bedding...but that is okay. mine is purple and matches my cute blanket:) so yay.... that was fun

Anyways that is my life... I get up and do the work, and then I go to bed:) But it is going well, we have lots of people to contact and try to teach so hopefully I can get better at teaching and we  can bring some people some happiness.:)

I love you all:)

my address is
605 Park St. #12
Minot, ND

I love you!

so Dad i am sorry i that i didnt look back but i was like so exicted and nervous and stuff! and well you know! Getting in was great and i was welcomed like 600 times but that is good;) but yeah my comp is Sister Jenson, she is from american fork and funny story she and Elder Chamberlain dated before and he is in our district so  i find that amusing sometimes:) the first couple days were really up and down and sometimes super hard, i had to really find out why i wanted to be here! i am starting to get the hang of things though so no worries:) i am really excited! i love feeling the spirit all day long!!

i am sorry i am typing super fast and i have limited time so yeaa, bear with me:) i will get better at this;)

I think that what i have learned most was that i have to live the atonment everyday and that becoming better and more like Christ is the only way that i am going to be able to help my investigators ( right now we are teaching Adam and Rachel) they are both really cool and i hope that we can help tthem in coming to Christ.
Sister Jensen and Sister Andrus @ the MTC

Caleb, Rachel is going to have a booth at comicon, i want you do go see her if you are going this year again! will you do that for me? she does cool art stuff and she is way good! i would love for you to meet her! her name is Rachel Everett!:)

so yeah funny story yesterday I was chatting with the elders in our district and i was chugging my water bottle and they said if i blew into it, water would shoot faster into my mouth, but i said no there is a aiir hole so....that wouldnt happened. I then proceeded to blow really hard into the water bottle and to say the least i was wet for the rest of the day and my whole front side was drenched....the elders were definitly right and my mouth isnt that big;) oh well we had a great laugh about it!

the sisters are all super close now and we have so much fun together! our nicknames are
SeesterA
Sister Jolly ( jenson)
Sister Tuckandroll (Tucker)
Sister smiles (miles)
Sister Mario (Bowser)
Sister bonkers (johnson)
