Temple!!!

Hello!
This last week was really good! we were blessed with new people who quite possibly will become new investigators:) I hope we can get in with them all really soon! haha looks like all that tracting paid off....but not in the way we thought:) absolutely no people we tracted into were the least bit interested. One referral we got was a guy named Steve Nelson. His friend from Arizona actually called us and told us about Steve. He sounds like a mormon already so hopefully we can help him feel the spirit and realized what he is looking for. Funny story, I called him to set up and something and this is what he said:

"oh yeah, for sure, lets meet up, ill buy you guys some coffee! ...do you drink coffee??"
"oh no, we don't drink coffee but thanks"
"oh okay, yeah me either, its the worst. Never had a cup of it in my life. Actually thats a lie, I have tried it, but it was just.....have you tried it?"
" yeah, but so can you meet tomorrow?"

haha it was the best conversation ever. I love people:) Most of our investigators have fallen off the face of the earth and the only one we know about is moving so....yeah

We have one family that we are trying to reactivate. We were supposed to have a lesson so we came and knocked and they hid from us, its fine, but anyways bishop just showed up randomly to this lesson that wasnt happening. so when we were driving out of the neighborhood we passed him, and so instead of like using our phone to call him, we automatically kicked into stalker mode and followed him around the neighborhood to tell him they weren't answering the door.....that was awkward, but he invited us to dinner so maybe it wasn't as bad as we thought.....He is sorta awkward to begin with so maybe it was.

We got to go to the temple this morning, so that was good! :) a member in our ward, Sister Elwess, took us down to Bismarck and we got to go through a session with her. It was great to get to go, and we had an amazing time. I will NEVER complain about having 50 million temples in Utah, it is such a blessing. Something we take for granted until the closest temple is 2 hours or more away. On our way back to Minot I got to see all of the Sunflowers in bloom out here! there are so many and I love it!:) It was basically the best day of my life;)

Anyways i hope all is well at Home in good ol Cache Valley! Love and Miss you all:)

Christmas in July!

Hey
wow, i love the flowers! they are so pretty! Man, i am so excited to go 4 wheeling with dad again!:)
We are doing well. My letter i just sent talks about our investigators..which is kind of sad this week but yeah, have fun with that
Sister Clegg isnt sick anymore but we are still getting back into the groove of things, Its amazing how that threw our whole month off. but thankfully next week is when transfer 2 begins so we will be good from the get-go.

I have realized alot this week but all is well. God is mindful and we are his servants. He will protect.

I hope you all know that is our ticket home, that by accessing the atonement everyday in our lives we will be able to ultimately become
our potential. everyone should be able to know that there is a way:)

I love you all!!!

So I hope all is well at home!!!:)

Basically this week has just been embarrassing.....haha we actually went to a dinner apt. and we knocked on the door and then a voice inside was like "come in!" so we went
in. We proceeded to take off our shoes and put our bags down. When I looked up this room full of people were just staring at us, so we were staring back at them. Finally a man said  "So...uh can i help you with something?"
"oh.,....uhh....well....Isnt this the Fiests?"
"oh, nope"
OH okay well haha we will just be going now...thanks....
I swear i could have drowned in all the awkward in the room. but i am sure that they got a good laugh out of it:)

As far as our work. It has been a good but slow week, we have alot of work to do with our investigator, and hopefully we can find some more people to teach, it has been few are far between lately. All in God's time right?:)

We actually celebrated Christmas in July because I always sing Christmas Songs and Sister Clegg wont be here in December so that was fun:) Thank you for the package mom to be the present under the tree;)

Well I apologize for the short report, it will hopefully be amazing next week:) I love you all:)

New President and Thunderstoms

Hello All
So this last week we finally met President Hess. Apparently everyone says he is 'SO GREEN' but I cant tell...probably because i am still a greenie....shame.

He is great! He is from Malad ID, and he loves Logan so we had a nice little chat about that, He and Sister Hess have amazing testimonies and are so excited to be here with us! We are all so excited to get to know them a little better.

This week we also had our exchanges, I was sent to Williston. I love It over there...
On the way there i was driving and it started to get pretty dark and we drove into a huge thunderstorm. It was insane! there was so much lightning i forgot it was night sometimes. the rain got so think at one point we had to pull over because i couldnt see the lines on the road. So other than the fact that we didnt get to bed until 12am. It was amazing, i wish we had storms like that in Utah:) i used to also think that dancing in the rain was fun, but you might technically die if you did that here..so eh, its just fun to watch!

The work in Williston was great! It was awesome to meet some new people and get to know another sister. I was with Sister Sanderson, she is such a hard worker and it was great! We knocked on one door and were talking to a lady, but then her doorbell started talking to us about how they didnt want any girl scout cookies..? haha we were just ignoring it, then sister Sanderson was like " umm is your doorbell talking to us?" and she just said yes, that is my husband, he thinks that he is funny...
But honestly i was dying, i thought it was hilarious... but in my defense it was like 10000 degrees and we had knocked so many doors so i might have been a little tired.

Other than that we haven't had too much, Sister Clegg has been pretty sick so we didn't get out too much. We had one lesson with a guy named Gilbert. He is a recent convert, and we love to teach him he has made so many changes and has a long way from where he used to be. we taught him the Plan of Salvation and we all had fun talking about the Celetial kingdom with him:)

Anyways I hope all is well with you at home!
Please share any stories you have with me, I love to learn from you all:)
Love, Sister A
Tay:)
