Good ol' Bemidji

Hey yet! whats up yet! (I've only heard that one a million times out here)
It was a really good week this week! man a lot of ups and downs but super good!

- Painted old ladies nails at the old folks home. They are so cute!

-We decided to bake some cookies and give them to our neighbors and to people who have been ignoring us lately. That is like the best idea, cause how can you refuse cookies! So we bring some over to our friend Nate and he lives in a fire station. He was so happy about the cookies! He said thanks like a million times, and the best part was we got to see the fire station! It was so fun, I felt like a little kid. They don't have a fire pole though, I asked. He met with us the next day and we got to teach the word of wisdom and law of chastity in one lesson. It was what he needed though, and he is so humble. The spirit was testifying to him that what we said is true! He is such a humble man, and he is so honest with us! Its really great!

-Went fishing with our toddy todd todd. He is so fun! Just a quiet fun guy. I was sitting in the car and thinking, how did I get myself into this. We said he could give us a ride, so we all had to clown car it. haha.

-So CRAZY STORY! our old investigator Tania fell off the map this week. She got kicked out of the house she was staying at and terrance offered to drive her around because he was her fellowshipper (aka friend we bring with us to lessons). They went to like 4 different houses and no one would let her and her boyfriend stay there. Then she called terrance again and asked for a ride out 45 min. out of town. He reluctantly gave her and her boyfrind a ride, but they decided to argue the entire way there. when they got there they didn't have any idea where the house was. So they go to a bar for a phone and loe and behold the woman they borrow the phone from knows the house. Then they go to the house and its abandoned. Right when tania and her boyfriend knock on the door two police cars roll up and run into the house, tania and her boyfriend book it to the car and are yelling to terrance to get out of there! Then a fed car and a ambulance drive up too! He had no idea what was happening, and all the cops are searching the house. Then Terrance goes up to the door and askes if he can leave, and they don't even care so he left. dropped her off at a house and hasn't heard from her. haha! Sorry terrance, but oh the ways investigators drop off the map can be incredible!

- Met a guy named weston who I had taught before with sister cavey once. He was at a less active womans house and turend out to be her son! He is so ready for the gospel, and we are so excited to teach him. He is pretty funny, and has had so much hard stuff in his life! He wanted a blessing, and wants to be baptized!

- Went to the fair and got to meet borris the 1,000 pound pig, exciting!

-Sunday ward council was amazing! The bishop said that he wanted Missionary work to be the top and main priority! The discussion was so inspired, and I know that this ward is going for great things!

Rugby, ND!

 Hey Everyone!

It has been so COLD here! I believe this last weekend was in the Negatives and with wind chill pretty close to -30 degrees! Then on last Friday, we went to a bonfire on the airforce base at 2 degrees! I don't know who has a bonfire in the January in North Dakota, but it was fun to say we did that! There were little marshmallow children everywhere! it was so cool.

I have been in another Trio for the last three weeks with Sister Clark and Finlinson. They are the sisters serving in my greenie area. I am still the 2nd ward sister. We have been running both wards, and I will forever be grateful for a companion because being the only sister in your ward who knows what is going on is crazy. Thankfully we have Elders too:)

Now, I am going out to Rugby ND to be in a new trio with two sisters that I already know, Sister Davis and Wright. I am really excited to go out there. I have been there once to visit the sisters. it is about an hour out of Minot to the East and about 30 minutes away from the CA border. It is so cute and small and I am excited to serve in a small town. I do know that it is famous for being the very center of N America. so that is cool.

Anyways I will let you know more next week on how the world is outside of Minot.
