How did you all love Conference?!
What an amazing blessing that is for us to be able to hear
from our leaders!:) We are truly blessed to have so many inspired leaders and
loving Brothers and Sisters to help each of us on our journey back to our
Heavenly Father!:) I absolutely LOVED General Conference! We as missionaries
watch the broadcast at the church building because obviously we don't have
TV's... But anywho, I loved So many of the Talks! But I LOVED President
Monson's on how we can be the example to the world, and we need to be!!! I also
loved President Uchtdorf's Talk on keeping our discipleship simple. I really
needed that talk! We make things so complicated all the time! So I was very
Grateful for that! I loved Robert D. Hales talk on the important decisions that
we make as young adults ( took some notes that will be tucked away for the time
being, But Awesome advice on Marriage)
What were all your favorite things? Don't be afraid to share
what you learned with the world! One awesome way to grow your testimony is by
actively sharing what you love about the Gospel! Share with everyone what you
loved about Conference! I hope you all were able to watch it and if you were
not, Lucky for you- Its online:)
Coolness, Elder Renlund was the seventy who came to see our
mission! So Cool!!:) I know a famous person!:)
We met an awesome Guy Named Cy this week. He is recovering
from a stroke and he has definitely been humbled. He is so grateful for the
second chance he has been giving and is determined to make a difference with
the time that God has given him. So he is Investigating the Church! He said
that good fruit doesn't come from bad places so He knows that the Mormons aren't
bad. He is awesome!:) He even watched Conference! So I am excited to see what
he Learned:)
We also met someone who Is on date but Her name is Sara- we
had an awesome lesson with her about the Holy Ghost and How that made her feel.
It took her a minute but she realized that the feeling was that fire burning
inside of her. She noticed that it felt like a candle in a dark room. I just
loved watching her come to that realization, It was awesome.
I hope you all will take the time to share what you have
learned this week in conference:)
Love you all:)
