Why is it warm here?

Hello Family and Friends!

This week was a great week! Aimee was Baptized this weekend and confirmed yesterday at church! the ward is so excited to have her and they have been amazing in welcoming her into the ward and getting to know her a little better:) She was so ready to be baptized and we are all so happy for her and her decision to do so:)

We had an amazing ward Christmas party that evening as well! The ward pulled off an amazing dinner, amazing decorations, and a great Christmas program to go alone with it all:) We were able to get one of our Potential Investigators to the party and talking with all the ward! Turns out the member we asked to give her a ride knows her son so that was super awesome in helping her feel loved and welcome at the ward:)

I was never more grateful to be staying in Minot as I was at the Christmas party and realizing just how much all these people mean to me and how close we have all gotten:)  I am so excited to be staying here for another transfer and continuing the work in the Minot 2nd ward:)

We have had the opportunity this last week to meet and get to know a few of the families that live out on the Air Base:) They are so fun and we have loved getting to know their back stories and sharing simple messages of Christ's birth and his love for all of us:) It is amazing the feeling that comes in the Christmas Season, and how we get to see testimonies of people that we didn't even know believed! It has been interesting to learn that some of the most powerful testimonies aren't always the loudest ones:) What a blessing it truly is that we have been blessed with Our Savior:) I hope you all have seen His love in your own lives, I hope that continues for each and everyone of us until the day we get to be with Him again:)

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas season and have time to think about what Christmas is really all about!:) I love you all and I am grateful for all of you and what you have added to my life:)
